Get answers to common questions about Brazilian Wax.
Trim or allow hair to grow to about five to seven millimeters and arrive with clean skin. Avoid heavy exfoliation or tanning 48 hours prior. Inform us of medications or skin treatments so we can advise or reschedule if needed.
Some discomfort is normal, especially on the first visit, but intensity varies. Relaxation techniques, deep breathing, and experienced technicians make the process quicker. Over-the-counter pain relief 30–60 minutes beforehand can help—ask our staff for personalized recommendations.
Hair should be approximately five to seven millimeters (about a quarter inch) for the wax to grip effectively. If hair is shorter, waxing may be less effective; if longer, we can trim it to the ideal length before treatment.
Most clients return every four to six weeks depending on individual hair growth. Regular waxing often results in finer regrowth and longer smooth periods. We can recommend a tailored schedule based on your personal hair cycle and results.
Avoid hot baths, saunas, intense exercise and tight clothing for 24–48 hours. Gently exfoliate after 48–72 hours to prevent ingrown hairs and apply soothing, fragrance-free products. If irritation persists, contact us for guidance.
We avoid waxing over open wounds, sunburn, active rashes or skin infections. Inform us if you use Accutane, blood thinners, recent chemical peels, or have certain skin conditions or pregnancy. A brief consultation ensures your safety.
